Depatching is quite simple, actually, and useful when you accidentally patch up to a higher version (Note: use WoW.exe instead of the default launcher to avoid autopatching)
So, to depatch, simply delete the patch.mpq and patch-2.mpq files from your World of Warcraft/Data directory and then run the Repair.exe (select Check and Repair Files. It should get your version back to 3.0.1, from where you can patch up to current version. You can find the patches here-http://a.wirebrain.de/wow/#p3.0.2. when u download patches automatically they get saved in a patches folder, sometimes its in wow folder, sometimes its in another folder called patches in program files
